Dolder Grand Hotel was built at the turn of the century and is an imposing landmark in the city. Set within its own park in a residential area, it is the only hotel in the city limits with its own golf course. Being only six to ten minutes from downtown, it is very much a city hotel, but has a relaxed resort atmosphere. During the summer, guests enjoy swimming, golf, tennis and scenic jogging. In winter, there's ice-skating and the European sport known as curling. Take one of the trams numbered 3, 8 or 15 to Römerhof and then take the rack-and-pinion railway to Dolderbahn Bergstation. The final station is right next to the Hotel.
