Hebridean Cottages are based a 5 minute drive from the main town of Stornoway. We have 6 available on the same sight so ideal for big family holidays where you want to stay close to each other. br / br / br / br / Each cottage sleeps 4 and has 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin a shower room and open plan kitchen living dining area. There are 2 beautiful beaches within walking distance of the cottages as well as the local shop and cafe. There is a regular bus service to and from Stornoway so it is not necessary to bring a car. Our location is an ideal base for exploring the island as we are close to the main town but also in a quiet area where you can enjoying walks exploring the villages and beaches. If history is your thing you can take a short walk from the cottages to view the 14th century St Columbas church and cemetery. br / br / br / br / Hebridean Cottages is a family run business who pride themselves on offering a friendly welcome and clean practical holiday accommodation. Sandie Donald and Aonghas are all involved in the running of Hebridean Cottages. Sandie manages the day to day running of the business with the help of her husband Aonghas and father Donald sometimes even roping in 1 of her 4 children if they are willing. We have been running very successful guest house and self catering accommodation for the last 15 years. We enjoy meeting new people and introducing them to our beautiful Island and also welcoming back returning guests who have fallen in love with Lewis.
