Take the A38 via Plymouth into Cornwall. At the first roundabout after crossing the River Tamar into Cornwall turn Right onto the A388 signposted Callington and Launceston. Continue for 3.1 miles before turning Right at Paynters Cross (also signposted Cargreen Landulph AND the Crooked Spaniards Inn). The entrance to Pentillie will be within 100 metres of the main road. If the gates do not appear within 100 yards then you have come off the main road early. Don t panic just continue to the T-junction turn left (small signpost to Pentillie) and the entrance to Pentillie will be on your right at the top of the hill.
