The Severn Arms a picturesque Elizabethan grade 2 listed building located at the heart of Pen-y-bont which was built in 1755 by the architect John Price and celebrated their 260th anniversary this year. br / br / br / br / It was originally named The New Inn but gained its current title from Squire J Cheesement Severn whose family the architect s daughter married into. Some locals recollect that it was a very important staging post for coaches travelling between Aberystwyth and London. br / br / br / br / Directly located in front of the River Ithon the hotel boasts a tranquil and relaxing air encouraging a peaceful and warmly welcomed stay. This beautiful landscape also appeals to those looking for a fishing trip as the hotel has five miles of fishing rights on the river.

Hereford (via A438 and A44) - Road: Take East St and St Owen St to Bath St/A438. Follow A438 to A4111. Continue straight onto A4111. At the roundabout continue straight onto A44. Destination will be on the right.
