From North-East take A69 west past Hexham. Bear left before Haydon Bridge on A686 to Alston. 20 miles. Drive into Alston. Cumberland is on your right past cobbled Front Street. From Scotland take A69 East at Carlisle. Turn right at Brampton roundabout to follow A69 1 mile turn right onto A689 to Alston 20 miles. Turn left at T junction onto A686 over Bridge. Cumberland is on your Left
