===== Exterior =====Villa with private gardens, play area for the children. Recently modernised with 4 bedrooms, Large Lounge, 4 En-suite bathrooms, with shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Utility room with washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.Only a 5 minute drive from Ostuni (The White City), you will find Villa Afrodite, on a private road with only one or two neighbours. Totally private, but not isolated.Outside as you enter the villa through the electric gates, you will see the pool on your left, with modern wooden type decking and out door shower. There are spacious areas in which the children can play ping pong, and also lawned areas, should you wish to sunbath away from the pool area. The villa consists of a large veranda with automatic blinds, to give you much welcomed shade from the heat of the mid-day sun. Seating for 8 along with two coffee tables.Through the large wooden doors, you enter the lounge, which has a working fireplace, TV and seating for 8. From the Lounge there are 4 double bedrooms, 3 with king sized beds, and one which is a twin. Each has En-suite shower rooms, with bidet, toilet and sink. The bedrooms and spacious and all have views of the outside gardens and patio area. Each Bedroom has a wall mounted TV.The fully fitted kitchen, has an oven, 4 ringed gas hob, microwave, dishwasher. In the utility room, there is also a washing machine.Air Conditioning, and also fans in each room, which is ideal for those who do not like air conditioning.Pool 10m x 4m and 1.45m deep, with metal steps. Great area around the pool for those wanting to sunbath. An outdoor shower and a fantastic area to enjoy breakfast by the pool.Lawned area, and an area for the children to play. Great family villa, that is extremely spacious, bright with clean lines, and a very modern feel. Centrally located, with the nearest town of Ostuni which has many interesting areas to visit.Including, Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve blissfully free from development, with its rugged shores is a protected area, and allows its visitors to enjoy and escape from the over developed beach resorts. There are plenty of opportunities to observe plant and animal species usually scarce in this part of the world.A mini shuttle service runs from the car parks, but to find your spot on the beach, there may be some walking involved.The sea is clear, clean and warm. There is a visitor centre 3km inland at Serranova which organises nature walks, cycle trekking. There are also guided snorkelling trips. Torre Guaceto is also one of Puglia's top locations for kite surfing. There are water parks, and a zoo in Fasano. Plenty to do if you have young children.Ostuni boasts many restaurants with traditional Pugliese cuisine, with roast and grilled meat and tasty tangy pasta dishes to suit every pallate.Ostuni has also one of the oldest Franciscan convents dating back to 1304.The Cathedral is located on the highest point of the city, which was built between 1435 and 1495, and has a beautiful Gothic facade.Far away you will see the white town perched on a hill, crowned by the cathedral with its colorful dome.The town of Ostuni is surrounded by a medieval fortress wall, and as you meander through the streets, you may stumble upon hidden cafe bars and restaraunts. Definitely worth visiting at night, as there is a buzz of excitement, and people sipping coffee and drinking Spritz - just imagine sitting and watching the world go by, and also the Italian's who are always deep in conversation, with animated hand gestures. Great food, always great coffee, steeped in history, with lots to do for the whole family.===== Apartment Policies =====CHECH-IN/CHECK-OUT:Check-in time is after 5 P.M. and Check-out is 10 A.M. - NO Early Check-in or late checkout.For the check-in made between 8 and 10 P.M. you could be charged of up to € 50.For the check-in made after 10 P.M. you could be charged of up to € 100.MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guest is limited to 8 person.MINIMUM STAY: This property requires a 7 night minimum stay during peak season (July/August). During all the other season, on request, we can apply a 4 night minimum stay. SECURITY DEPOSIT:A security deposit of € 1000,00 for damage is required. It is fully refundable 2 working days later the time of departure, provided the following provisions are met:- No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear;- No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents of services rendered during the stay;- All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bin, and soiled dishes are cleaned and the fridge empty. In case a penality of 100€ will be charged;- All keys are left at the owner (or representative of the owner);- All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure;- No linen are lost or damaged;- The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local enforcement.INCLUSIVE FEES / HEATINGRates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Facilities fees are included in te rental rate. Due to the small rates during the winter time, Heating will be charged according to its consumption. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE:While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property, we suggest you bring beach towels. FALSIFIED BOOKING:Any booking obtained under false pretense will be subjected to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS:Any exceptions to the above mentined policies must be approved in writing in advance.FIREPLACES:Firepleces if present are turned off from April the 1st to October 15th; they are not operational during this time of the year. Please do not throw any paper of other combustible materials in the fireplace.WATER AND SEPTIC:This property have a well and a septic system. Th mineral content in the water is high. During a drought, the well water may have an odor. The water is not drinkable. We sugest you to buy mineral water. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other that toilet paper. No femminine products should be flushed at anytime.
